Every Heart... A Crystal

A Reflection on Human Uniqueness and Shared Humanity

What if light is one, yet reveals itself through every human being in a way that can never be repeated?

Perhaps because light does not pass through emptiness.

It passes through a heart.

And every heart is a crystal unlike any other—a crystal that has never existed before and will never exist again.

The light itself remains unchanged.

What changes is the way each crystal receives it, refracts it, and allows it to become visible.

In that refraction, each heart reveals an unrepeatable expression of the same light.

Human uniqueness, then, is more than a matter of personality, talent, or experience.

It is the singular way in which one light becomes visible through a particular human life.

Seen from this perspective, individuality is not the opposite of our shared humanity.

Rather, it is the very means through which our shared humanity is expressed.

The more deeply we discover our own crystal—and the more fully we become connected to our hearts—the closer we come to ourselves.

Paradoxically, we also come closer to one another.

For what unites us is not the sameness of our crystals, but the one light that shines through them all.

Perhaps peace does not begin when we become more alike.

Perhaps it begins when we recognize that every person reveals an expression of the same light that has never existed before and will never exist again.
